A 68-year-old man died in one of the toilets in the Nevada shopping centre in Armilla, Granada yesterday afternoon.

The emergency number 112 receive a call from a shopper to say that there was an elderly person lying on the floor of a 2nd-floor, public bathroom who didn’t appear to have a pulse.

By the time that medical personnel and the police arrived, there was nothing that they could do for the man.

The arrival of the Guardia Civil, Policía Local and the ambulance crew drew the crowds in the packed shopping centre, especially when the body was removed at around 20.00h.
