The new Decathlon store on the equally new shopping centre in Motril opened last week and immediately attracted hundreds of shoppers.

Although it opened its doors for the first time at ten in the morning on the big day, there was already an impressive queue waiting to get in.

So, Decathlon is open along with the Mercadona supermarket and the fast-food restaurant, Burger King, but they will be joined next month by the Danish interior-decoration giant, JYK.
