Winter has come early this year with snowfalls all over most of Spain and… Sierra Nevada, too, but there’s good and bad news.
The good news is that the snow cannons are already bombarding the ski slopes with snow, so much so that Cetursa Remontes, the semi-public company that runs the ski slopes, is thinking of starting the skiing season early, instead of waiting for December.
The bad news is that the unions have confirmed that the strikes in the ski station will go ahead as no agreement has been reached. The strikes will begin on the very first weekend of the slopes being opened.
