Los Moriscos Golf Course Saved

We heard rumours that Los Moriscos Golf Course had managed to come to an arrangement which would permit them to keep the full 18 holes – we checked; it’s true.

The Seaside Gazette spoke with María del Mar Vallejas, who is the manager of the golf course and who confirmed that there had been an agreement struck with Patrimonio de Estado, who presently possess the eight holes.

She told us that the Golf Course would be open with its full quota of holes on the 1st of August by the latest.

This is fantastic news for Motril and the whole of the Costa Tropical, which is why it has made front-page news this month. The golf club can’t afford to lose those eight holes, Motril can’t afford it nor can the Costa Tropical.

Enhorabuena
