The police and volunteers continue with their search for 83-year-old Antonio Villa González, who went missing in Ítrabo on Thursday.
The command post has been set up at the Colegio Nuestra Señora de la Salud and the search restarted at 07.00h this morning with the search being centred on the Jurite area in the higher reaches of the municipality.
Drones have been used, thanks to the Asociación de Guardias Civiles Solidarios, which is made up of four guardsmen based in Granada. They are all drone pilots and have been operating three of these remote-control aerial devices during the 20th and 21st, dedicating their free time to the task.
These AGCS has over 100 drone-operator volunteers registered on their books from all over Spain and are campaigning for funds for a new drone capable of night and bad-weather flying.
