The body of a woman of German nationality was discovered in her flat in Vélez-Málaga. The Police believe that she died about a month ago.

It was the complaints from neighbours about a strong smell of decomposition coming from the flat that had alerted the police.

They went to the 6th-floor apartment on Calle Felipe el Hermoso at 18.45h on Saturday the 14th.

The police requested the participation of the fire service to gain access to the 72-year-old woman’s home. They found the body under the sitting room table, without any signs of having suffered a violent death.
