San Juan in Salobreña runs from today, the 22nd, to Monday the 25th and there will be plenty of activities. Remember that Monday is fiesta in Salobreña

According to the Coucillor Mª José García, there will be live music down on the beach, provided by Orquesta Tentación and the DJ, Kokodrilo – that’s tonight in front of the Sports Centre.

But there are also sport activities with the yearly Kayak Angling Competition, which knocks up its tenth years, this summer. And, Club Salubina will be holding its V Classic Bikes Meet, too.

As for the kids with a foam party on the last day of San Juan weekend.

Finally, of course, there is the religious ceremony with the Saint John the Baptist procession, accompanied by the municipal brass band on Sunday the 24th with the Mass being held in Iglesia de San Juan.

Remember that access to the beach area will be closed to traffic from 18.00h on Saturday between the Urbanización Los Faroles and the El Peñón.
