A male, bus passenger on the Almería-Madrid run was arrested by the Guardia Civil for allegedly groping a woman next to him whilst she slept.

When the woman awoke it was to find the 40-year-old man in the seat next to her with his hand on her crotch. She screamed and began to berate the man, waking the rest of the bus passengers and alerting the driver.

The driver pulled the bus in at the next autovia service station not far from Guadix. The suspect took the opportunity to run off the bus and flee.

However, the Guardia Civil found him around three in the morning and arrested him.
