Bike fans will be pleased to know that the IV Concentración de Motos Clásicas Classic Club Salubinia will be having its annual turn out.
On Sunday the 24th of June; i.e., San Juan, you will have the chance to feast your ogling orbs on a herd of motorbikes from 20 years ago and more. What’s more, if you’re the proud owner of such a machine, then the club invites you to participate.
If you do want to participate, you’ve got to have all your bike docs in order (insurance/ITV) – anybody with a contraption that looks close to disintegrating will be invited to ride at the rear of the procession so that the rest don’t have to dodge the debris. Fear not, though, because the event also has a trailer for breakdowns.
The club will be bringing 180 classic-bike enthusiasts from Málaga, Jaén and Almería, as well as from the province of Granada.
Right! So it kicks off at 08.30h for last-minute inscriptions (15 euros) up to 10.00h in the Town Hall Square followed by brekkie! After that, the procession will head off, menacingly, making dogs faint and women bark.
Then comes lunch, a talk plus a human sacrifice and then back to trembling Salobreña.
Besides the chance to show off your tatts, the club will also be giving out club memorabilia.
