The Mayor of Almuñécar, Trinidad Herrera, is happy with the progress on Avenida de Andalucia, which she says, is ahead of schedule.

The work is scheduled to stop on the 22nd of June until the end of summer when the top end, all the way up to the Carrera, will be tackled.

She also had a nose around Calle San Jose, which is the street that runs parallel to Calle Real, but at a lower level – the stairs that links the two street and run down the side of Meson Francisco I, are completely dug up at the moment.

This little transited street is having the usual water mains/rain drainage system work carried out on it.
