God knows that we only get downpours like this interspersing extended drought periods nowadays and yes, Britain only has to have two consecutive days of clear skies and a drought is declared with an accompanying hosepipe ban so let’s stow the superiority complex, but, come on, Guys, get it together – it’s only bloody water! It runs downhill without much persuation, for God’s sake.
