Two youths have been arrested in Almuñécar, suspected of being responsible for two break-ins around the town.
The Guardia Civil managed to identify the two suspects, aged 17 and 18, thanks to clues found in both the burgled dwellings.
Both these burglaries took place last year. It was the minor who allegedly gained entrance to a 3rd-floor flat by forcing a window. According to the police, once inside he stole two laptops, a video game and clothes.
The second break-in occurred in the early hours of one morning with the homeowners asleep inside. The wife awoke to find the intruder inside the bedroom and then started screaming.
The burglar decided to flee and escaped via the bathroom window and then onto a low roof. However, he took his booty with him: two handbags containing personal documents, cash and credit cards. Other items stolen were a mobile phone and a music player.
