The State Meteorological Agency has announced an Orange-Level warning for the province today with snow inland and storms along the coast.

The Orange State will be in effect from 10.00h to 14.00h with force-8 gusts.

As for snow, 5-cm snowfall is expected in Guadix and Baza between 03.00h and 12.00h with snowfall to descend in general to the 1,100m mark.

There are four weather warnings colours:

Green: no meteorological risk
Yellow: no meteorological risk for the population in general although there is for some activities
Orange: there is an important meteorological risk.
Red: an extreme meteorological risk and with a high risk to the population in general
