If you were at the Sunday Flea Market in Almuñécar yesterday morning you will have seen that they have built a wide ramp down onto the square.
The Town Hall has decided to make the Plaza de Blas Infante more accessible from Calle Larache for pedestrians, especially those with mobility problems.
So, the steps have gone and a wide ramp now occuppies their place. Furthermore, this ramp will have a railing on both sides, as well.
This job is just one in a series of improvements and repairs along Calle Larache in recent months, amongst them, the repair to the footpath damage caused by tree roots.
