This week’s film in English to be shown in Almuñécar is The Greatest Showman, which is a musical starring Hugh Jackman. Newly released in Spain last Friday, it has received rave reviews.

Synopsis: Inspired by the life of P.T. Barnum, who was a visionary who rose from humble beginnings to create the Barnum & Bailey Circus (1871-2017), i.e., the Greatest Show on Earth.

Barnum, by the way, was one of the very first circus owners to move his circus by train; in fact, probably the very first to buy his own train.

Anyway, that’s Thursday the 11th at 18.00h at the Casa de la Cultura.
