The Guardia Civil are investigating the death of a 50-year-old man who was decapitated by a garage door on an urbanización in Torrelodones (Madrid).

The incident was discovered just after midnight one Friday in mid-December, when neighbours alerted the emergency service, who sent a police patrol and UVI ambulance to Nº1 Calle de José Sánchez Rubio.

There wasn’t much that the medics could do as the head and one foot had been severed from the body, so the victim was taken directly to a mortuary in Collado Villalba.
