Well somebody’s a happy bunny in Motril because he or she has just won a couple of million euros on a national lottery!

The lucky winner (are there unlucky ones?) picked six correct numbers on their Bonoloto coupon for Friday the 17th and suddenly became intimate friends with 2,251,921 euros, minus what the State takes in taxes for the fun of it, of course.

It could have been a lot less if he had had to share it with other winners but he was the only person to guess those six lucky numbers 9, 10, 33, 40, 41 and 42.

It’s hardly surprising that nobody else guessed them because what kind of lunatic expends three of his choices on three consecutive numbers? A soon-to-be-rich one, of course!

Somebody once said that spending money on the lottery was a tax on the stupid – come onnnnnn stupid!
