The Policía Nacional an elderly man for allegedly killing and younger man at an old persons’ home in Manises in Valencia on Saturday the 21st of October.

The death was originally reported to have taken place in Quart de Poblet, but the Town Hall later denied this.

The 91-year-old suspect reported attacked the 64-year-old victim with his a club (garrote). The victim was taken to Hospital de Manises, where he was treated for his injuries and allowed to return to the home. However, he was later taken back to hospital where he died.

The aggressor is said to be suffering from senile dementia.
