The work on the La Herradura beach road, which was halted on the 23rd of June for the summer, recommenced in the last week of September.

Consequently, you can no longer park where the work is going on, i.e., more or less in front of Inmo Karcher – the traffic flow is down to one lane so you have to wait to pass. The official press release speaks of between Calle Eucalipto up to Calle Unidad.

Furthermore, the taxi rank will be affected and will move to a temporary location during this phase of the work along the beach.

Also included in the work will be a roundabout where the Calle Prieto Moreno leading down from the mainroad joins the beach road (next to municipal market).

The first phase, residents will remember, was from in front of the children’s park, heading east, reaching as far as the shipwreck monument stands.
