The Salobreña Town Hall has issued a press release on their summer-2017, tourism figures, which highlights the fact that there has been an increase in French and Dutch visitors to the town.
This rise, together with a similar rise last year in the number of Danish and Swedish visitors, has changed the balance of visitor enquiries at the two tourist information offices (the main one on the Plaza de Goya and the one of the beach): the ratio now stands at 52% Spanish and 48% foreign visitors.
Don’t forget that the 27th is the International Day of Tourism; a date for which the Councillor for Tourism, Manuel Guirado, has organised activities: flowers for anybody who turns up at the tourist information office, local products sampling and a photographic exhibition.
