Three people are being treated for smoke inhalation in Motril as a result of a flat fire today, Thursday the 24th.

Around 15.15h the emergency number 112 received several calls from residents of a 7-storey block of flats on Calle Cuartel de Simancas to report a fire. Immediately police and ambulance services were dispatched.

The fire-service, public-relations officer said that the flat was completely burnt out and that there were three smoke-inhalation victims, who had been taken to Hosptial Santa Ana for treatment.
