Festivities continue on Motril’s Paseo de las Explanadas with the Feria de Día up to Friday the 18th.

One of the ideas that is enjoying some success is that if you go to the Oficina de Turismo between 13.00h &  14.00h, dressed in Flamenco kit, they’ll give you tickets for a couple of free drinks at the official Feria del Dia bar.

The Mayor, Flor Almon, says that they are convinced that the Fería de Día is a great success whilst the Councillor for Fiestas points out that the fair activities are especially aimed at families; i.e., fun for parents and kids alike.

Another thing that will cheer drivers up is that on the 16th, 17th and 18th, the zona-azul parking areas all over the town are free in the afternoons.

The Tourist Information Office will remain open, too, during these days, through from 09.45h to 20.00h

Lastly, for the symbolic price of one euro you can buy an official Feria de Día T-shirt. These garments have been provided by Bodegas Ron Montero. The euros charged will go to the charity, Jesús Abandonado.
