The Policía Nacional arrested a man who allegedly rammed a gasoline-station cashier window in order to carry out a robbery in the early hours of the 13th of July.
The 34-year-old suspect also appears to have attacked the entrance door to the shop area with a metal bar. Both attemps failed to gain him entrance.
After receiving an alert about the assault the police began an immediate sweep through town and soon came across a car, with visible damage to the bodywork, driving at excessive speed through the town. They gave chase.
He was finally cornered and arrested.
