We have been coming to Salobrena for the last twelve years and were there at the time of your story.
We arrived on Tuesday the 13th for a 6-night stay. We did our usual walking tours around Salobrena to soak up the atmosphere of a place we love and also see how changes were progressing since our last visit the previous September.
The Council or the people who plan their works must hate the people and businesses because they create an absolute shambles. The paseo is worse than it was a year ago, whoever decided to use soil with the consistency of Talcum powder must be an amateur, the roundabout for the access to the new hotel area being done at this time of year is crazy and dangerous for pedestrians.
The work next to El Penon and Bahia must have owners and customers totally frustrated; Saturday and Sunday were total chaos as your picture shows.
We always travel to Salobrena by Bus so we checked out the new Bus Station to see what access was like knowing what the traffic was like in that area. I can only say that we will not come back to Salobrena when Alsa move their stop from its current position.
