The special needs association, Alojha has organised a charity run for Sunday the 4th of June in Almuñecar and is asking for as many people as possible to participate.

The run sets out from next to the Parque El Majuelo at 11.00h – not too early for the ‘bed friendly’ – and will be routed through Avenida Europa, Avenida Cala, Carrera de la Concepción, Avenida Andalucía, Paseo Prieto Moreno, Calle Bikini and conclude around 12 noon back in the park.

The first 200 participants who put their names down before the 2nd of June will be given a T-shirt.

For our last-minute junkies, you can put your name down just before the race, too, paying just two euros that, remember, are for a good cause.

Even if you can’t see yourself jogging through the streets of Almuñécar, you can turn out to cheer on the runners as they stagger past; i.e., support those supporting the cause.
