A 13-year-old boy fell from the roof of an abandoned factory in Teià (Barcelona) on Sunday the 14th of May and died from the 10-metre fall.
According to the press release, the accident occurred around six in the afternoon when it appears that the part of the roof on which the boy was standing gave way. He was with other children at the time but was the only one that reached the roof.
Locals are calling for the factory owner to have the derelict building demolished and if he won’t, for the Town Hall to carry the demolition out instead.
This accident follows shortly after a death on Friday the 12th in Badalona (Barcelona) where a 3-year-old boy fell seven floors to his death – police still don’t know how this first accident occurred.
