A dead body was found in a dry riverbed (rambla) in Motril yesterday evening, according the emergency 112 services.

The body was located at 23.40h Saturday the 4th by officers from the Cuerpo Nacional de Policía in the Rambla de los Álamos, where it reaches Playa de las Azucenas, near Motril Port.

The body is of a man in his late forties who had died several days ago and who had a criminal record. Obviously, his exact identity is known but it is not being given out before the family is informed.
