The Policía Nacional from Motril arrested two individuals, aged 33 an 35, in Torrenueva for being allegedly responsible for six break-ins.
The arrests were made in the early hours of the 22nd of February after the police received a call via 091 to say that somebody was moving about inside a restaurant in Torrenueva.
A patrol was sent to investigate and found the security shutter had been forced and the glass door to the dining area smashed. A man who was attempting to hide a piece of furniture made a break for it but was caught.
Meanwhile a second patrol caught the second individual running off in the opposite direction. Both men resisted arrest.
Previous police investigations into five other break-ins, taking place between the 4th and 12th of February, indicates that these two men could also have been behind them.
