A young man in Salobreña was arrested for allegedly forcing an entry into a flat resulting in the owner being injured.

The incident occurred on the morning of Saturday the 12th November when the accused kicked in the front door with the owner on the other side of the door, resulting in the door slamming into the victim’s chest, causing severe bruising.

Whilst the victim was on the floor from the force of the blow, the man reportedly took the opportunity to search the flat and run off with several objects with a total value of 2,000 euros.

The victim was attended to at the local medical centre, where she also gave a description of the thief which led to his arrest.
