The winner of the best-decorated float in the Romería del Sur fiestas in Salobreña earlier in the month was Armando Martin’s Los Geranios.

The judges took into account the work that went into it, the all-round look, the costumes, the music and the interaction with the general public. The corresponding First Prize was 800 euros.

In second place was Los Fiesteros, who won 500 euros and in third place, La Choza, which won 300 euros.

Hundreds of people from the town, as well as visitors, enjoyed this fiesta Sunday, thanks to the excellent weather, with the procession of highly decorated carts, horsemen and participants on foot, setting off from Plaza de Juan Carlos I at eleven in the morning, headed by the Virgen del Rosario, mounted on her own decorated cart.
