There was a fireball over the Costa Tropical around 03.27h on Friday the 9th, which became visible over the Med and streaked in over the province of Granada.
The whole thing, which was just momentary as it burnt up between the heights of 88km and 35kkm, was captured best by the observatory Centro Astronómico Hispano Alemán Observatorio de Calar Alto de Gérgal (Almería) although the video is thanks to the one in Huelva, La Sagra.
If you had been awake at the time in La Herradura or Almuñecar, it would Have been directly overhead.
The fireball event was very similar to the one seen on the 30th of August that came in over the Med heading into the province of Málaga.
Well, there’s a limit to how much you can write about an event that lasted just seconds and we’ve reached it…
