There was a collision between a motorbike and a car in the centre of Almuñécar on Tuesday the 6th around nine in the evening.

The two young men from Granada on the 125cc scooter were both slightly injured in the collision, which took place in front of Macdonald’s, and were taken to the area hospital in Motril for treatment.

It appears that one of the two vehicles involved ignored a red light and was probably going too fast to avoid the collision.

Obviously, with the accident happening virtually right in front of the municipal police station, they immediately arrived at the scene of the accident.
