The Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de Atarfe performed in the perfect setting of the Roman Aqueduct (next to Carbonell) on Tuesday the 6th.

Conducted by José Antonio Guerrero, the orchestra closed the summer musical season with mostly tango but also other musical styles as part of the show entitled, Entremares.

The performance went down so well that there was a standing ovation at the end which was followed by an encore by tenor, José Manuel Zapata.

However the cultural agenda is far from over as the following night the VIII Festival de Teatro Grecolatino – Sexi Firmun Iulium began.
