The body of a young man was found in a public garden area of Motril this morning by members of the municipal maintenance and cleaning company, Limdeco.

One of the workers was cleaning the area known as the Balcón de San Fernando, when he came across the body propped up, in a sitting position, against a tree.

The 30-year-old man showed no signs of having suffered a violent death and the police are awaiting the autopsy report for details.

The body was removed at 13.00h once the coroner had authorized it.
