The Policía Local in Almuñécar are receiving further training on cars with foreign number plates; their paper work: ownership, ITV & Insurance, etc., as well as foreign driving licences.

Over the years the number of cars with foreign plates within the municipality has grown significantly and the days when they were largely ignored by local police forces are long gone.

We have published along these lines before, so it appears that this training is the second phase, so to speak. The course is 16 hours long in the classroom as well as an online section.

But it’s not only the Almuñécar municipal police receiving this training in Almuñécar, as members of the Guadix, El Puerto de Santa María, Torremolinos, Baeza and El Ejido municipal police forces are also taking part in the same course, which is being held in the Casa de la Cultura.
