There was a street brawl in Palma de Mallorca over the weekend between foreign tourists and street hawkers, resulting in four German tourists being injured.

All told, the fight on the seafront promenade involved some 30 people.

The police received a call at 19.30h on the 14th from a concerned citizen, yet by the time that the police had arrived the street hawkers had dispersed leaving four worse-for-wear German tourists. However, nobody was seriously dented.
