First reports are that a Guardia Civil policeman was involved in a minor road accident and shot the other driver six times.
The 31-year policeman was immediately arrested for the alleged murder of a Moroccan driver, resident in Illescas.
The incident occurred this morning at 07.33h on the the autovia A-3 near Valencia when the policeman stationed in Quintar de la Orden (Toledo) and the Moroccan were involved in a small collision. Both men got out of their cars and soon after the policeman allegedly drew a firearm and shot the man six times, three of which were in the head.
The policeman was not on active duty and was on medical leave but was carrying his regulation firearm. It appears that the policeman opened fire after the Moroccan tried to flee.
Information released at midday today indicates that the policeman was under the influence of alcohol and drugs- this piece of information, was given out on national TV.
