Restaurante Nuevo Arenas is now reopen after a short break and Manolo back at the helm having recovered from his illness.

This very popular La Herradura restaurant on the paseo at the Peña Parda end is hugely popular with foreigners and Spaniards alike, which is hardly surprising as Manolo is very well known from the years that he worked as head waiter at Restaurante Peña Parda.

Manolo would like to thank, in these lines, all the people that have asked after him during his illness, wishing him a speedy recovery.

A new feature in the restaurant is the centrally placed fireplace which adds not only physical warmth but that psychological comfort that a real fire gives.
