Salobreña businesses have cut a deal with Radiokable, with a little nudging from the Town Hall, giving the former more affordable telecommunications.

Basically, all members of the local business association Acesa will enjoy important price reductions using Wimax and Radiofibra covering both Internet (up to 30 megs) and telephony.

Acesa Chairman, José Casas, explained that there was no extra charge for swapping over to the new system through the association.

The advantage that Wimax has over ADSL is that the performance of the latter deteriorates the further you are from the source; this is not the case with Wimax.
