Ukrainian Ballet in Almuñécar

ALM Ukranian BalletNearly 500 people turned out to see the Ukrainian State Ballet Company perform at the Almuñécar Parque Majuelo.

Plenty of gravity-defying Cossacks springing around the stage, so everybody got a good look at the soles of their boots.

The show started with singer, Katerina Trachut, who is very popular back in her home country and is a bit of an Eric Clapton on the Bandura, which has 65 strings and is harder to play than a psychotic ferret covered in axle grease. In fact, she has won 50 international prizes with this instrument.

The show lasted two hours during which musical performances and dancing were alternating on stage. nobody was hurt…
