The Guardia Civil in Alhama de Granada, arrested a Moroccan man on the 18th after he allegedly stole a car in Almuñécar and broke into several others.
The 36-year-old man, resident of Algeciras, reportedly stole a car in Almuñécar before driving it to Torrox where he allegedly broke into another car and removed several valuables from within.
He then set off for Ventas de Zafarraya, where, according to the Guardia Civil, he broke into two more cars. As he was on a roll, maybe, so he went into a bar, had a drink, and left without paying.
By this time, the Guardia Civil had been alerted as to his alleged activities and a patrol was sent to investigate. The stolen car was intercepted not far from Alhama de Granada and the driver arrested.
In the car were all the items reported missing from the other cars that had been targeted, all of which have been returned to their rightful owners, whilst the suspect was arrested and charged with several offences.
