The PSOE won the local elections giving their candidate, María Eugenia Rufino, an absolute majority, with nine of the 17 council seats.
The PP came in second with four council seats and the IU with two. The PA and Ahora Sí won one seat each.
The voting turnout was 62.5%, which was a 6-point drop on the 2011 Municipal Elections. This turnout descent brings about the paradox that although the PSOE took fewer votes than in 2011, they actually won an extra seat.
Summing up the distribution of council seats: PSOE 10, PP 4, IU 2, PA 1 and Ahora Sí 1.
