A horse-drawn taxi in Sevilla was involved in a traffic accident on the Paseo de Cristóbal Colón, when one of the horses reared up and tried to bolt.
The accident occurred at 15.35h in the afternoon one Sunday, not far from the Regional House of Parliament, El Palacio de San Telmo, where the coachman habitually provides carriage rides for tourists.
One of the two horses in the braces, reared up, causing the driver to fall to the ground where his leg was stamped on by the horse.
Luckily a Policía Local patrol was at hand and they managed to calm the horse and attend to the injured man. However, it quickly become apparent that he had “had a few,” and he was given a breathalyzer.
The reading showed that he was four times over the limit…
