The Mayor of Sevilla, Juan Ignacio Zoido (PP), received an unusual offer on his Twitter account – his reply was even more unusual.

A Twitter user had posted, “Morning, @zoidoalcalde, I invite you in good faith to savour my foreskin, thus, free of charge.”

The Mayor, no doubt after an emergency but brief meeting with the City-Hall Legal and Public Relations Departments, responded:

I thank you for your offer, but I must decline your invitation. I lament that I do not share the same interests as you. Kind regards and be happy.”

Editorial comment: Had Twitter existed in the 1960’s, somebody would be breaking rocks in the provincial prison… and that’s just the Mayor!
