Carchuna Castle is the venue for a dolls exhibition, which will run until Sunday the 19th.

The exhibition is entitled: El mundo a través de las muñecas: usos y costumbres, (The World through Dolls: Uses and Customs).

The exhibits, 150 individual dolls, are from the private collection of Adelaida Antúnez and Manuel Peñas Maldonado, and are representative of every continent on the planet.

If you are interested but can’t get round to visiting the castle exhibition, then don’t worry, because it is their intention to repeat the exhibition in the summer.

The residents of the home for the elderly, Perpetuo Socorro de Santa Fe, helped to provide the backdrops and settings for the doll display.
