The police in Las Palmas de Canarias have arrested two prostitutes for slipping scopolamine to a Belgian businessman, which resulted in his death.

The two ladies concerned, Sandra and Victoria, stand accused of slipping our unlucky Belgian gentleman a rather large dose of burundanga, as it is known in Spain, to have their wicked way with his wallet.

Unfortunately, so effective was the dose in annulling his will to resist that he gave up the ghost.

This happened in a brothel on the island, by the way, which might raise a few eyebrows amongst his grieving family.
