The Indian film industry, Bollywood, has been filming in Nerja; amongst other locations, El Balcón de Europa.

The film is entitled, Son of Sathyamurty and is written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The producers, Haarika & Hassine Creations, chose Plaza Cavana and la Playa Calahonda, as well as El Balcón as shooting locations.

Like most Bollywood productions, there is a lot of singing and dancing – and that was just the Mayor rejoicing in his office…

The film’s targeted audience is the younger bracket, unlike the previous Bollywood film shot in Nerja and Calahonda, entitled, Jill.

The same set crew was used for both, although the actors, of course, were different.
