Motril politicians, municipal surveyors and traders from the municipal market got together to decide upon the future of the market.

The Mayor says that they have had meetings with companies, specialized in gastronomy, who might be interested in setting up on the upper floor of the market building.

These companies would have to invest funds in the building overhaul, to get the budget up from the 300,000 euros that the municipal coffers supplied to around one million euros.

The project is not just about making the place ‘prettier,’ but also about revitalizing this commercial area.
