Alleged Paedophile Arrested in Motril

MOT policia nacional controles OnLOfficers from the Policía Nacional in Motril arrested a 64-year-old, alleged paedophile who had a warrant for search and arrest out on him.

The warrant was issued when the man failed to turn up on the day of a hearing – he had spent a month in custody before being released pending trial.

This is a curious case because the man’s alleged activities came to light after a burglary at his house, resulting in his computer, amongst other items, being stolen.

Shortly after the break in someone anonymously sent material from the computer hard disc to the police, which contained damning evidence against the man.

The anonymous sender was later tracked down and charged with burglary but not before the burglary victim was also arrested for alleged sexual abuse and corruption of minors.
