Carchuna castle was the venue of some Christmas activities in the form of workshops and even music & dancing.

The Sevillanas dance group, Carchuna-Calahonda, added some colour and movement whilst the kids got stuck into some Christmas-card workshops. There was also the odd spot of indoor sports, such as table tennis and futoblín.

Meanwhile, this Sunday the 21st will see some party-going activity in the market square in Carchuna in the form of a zambombá – a curious instrument comprising of a stick and a skin-covered drum-cum-clay pot. The following Sunday will see a repeat performance in the Plaza Neptuna in Calahonda.
